This wetland area with peat and quag-mires is nice during summer for Kis sárszalonka, Füstös cankó and other eastern wetlandbirds. Other birds you can encounter are Rétisas, Réti cankó, sárga billegető, Réti fülesbagoly, Parti lile, Kontyos réce, Kékes rétihéja and Nagy őrgébics.
