Description
On the Terletse Heide you walk on historical ground. During the Second World War a glider airfield was built here because this is a former meltwater valley consisting of sand and gravel, so nice and sturdy. The landscape is variable. There are trees now and then, there is a patch of grass and there are bare, sandy places. There are also small puddles with water where birds come to drink. Among the birds that have been seen here are Lappantyú, Holló, Fekete harkály, Szürke légykapó, Nyaktekercs, Kakukk, Mezei pacsirta, Hantmadár and Kenderike.
