Particularly striking are the large groups of Nagy goda that can be found in Het Weegje early in the year. The marshy forest in the area has many songbirds in summer, such as őszapó, Énekes rigó, Berki poszáta, tengelic , Foltos nádiposzáta, and cserregő nádiposzáta. But also Kakukk is often heard and seen. In the central part there is a lake with many waders, in addition to the Nagy goda also Piroslábú cankó , Sárszalonka and Kis lile.

Nederlands: Het Weegje is een prachtig natuur- en recreatiegebied onder de rook van Waddinxveen. Vooral opvallend zijn de grote groepen Nagy goda's die al vroeg in het jaar in het gebied te vinden zijn. Het moerasbosje in het gebied heeft zomers veel zangvogels, zoals őszapó, Énekes rigó, Berki poszáta, tengelic, Foltos nádiposzáta en cserregő nádiposzáta. Maar ook de Kakukk wordt vaak gehoord en gezien. In het centrale deel bevindt zich een meer met veel steltlopers, naast de Nagy goda ook Piroslábú cankó, Sárszalonka en Kis lile.

Accessible by car. Parking spots are available at the address Weegje 4, Waddinxveen. In the area itself one can walk on paved paths, while the side paths are unpaved.
