Description
The Stagni di Marceddì and Corru S'Ittiri form part of a Natura 2000 protected area. These lagoons are a mosaic of brackish and freshwater habitats, shaped by natural inlets, sandbars, and artificial dikes. The shallow lagoons attract waders, gulls, and ducks. Birds you can observe include Gólyatöcs, Csörgo réce, Bütykös ásólúd, Ezüstlile, Parti lile, Nagy póling, billegetőcankó, Piroslábú cankó, Réti cankó, Szürke cankó, kőforgató, Pajzsoscankó, Apró partfutó, Parlagi pityer, cigánycsuk, Kis kócsag, and vékonycsőrű sirály.
