Description
The town of Massarella is situated on the south west edges of a lake and marshland area called Padule of Fucecchio which is the largest internal marshland in Italy and is a protected nature preserve. From Massarella it is easy to explore the southern part of the marsh area and see birds like Kárókatona, Fehér gólya,Szürke gém, Nagy kócsag, Kanalasgém, Kis kócsag, Pásztorgém, Tőkés réce and Barna rétihéja.
