Description

Lago di Piano is a natural freshwater lake situated at an elevation of 276 meters . The lake is part of the Riserva Naturale Lago di Piano, a protected natural reserve. The lake has reed beds, floating vegetation and forest. There are many bird species present in the area. Among the birds you can observe are Bölömbika, Szárcsa, Búbos vöcsök, Tőkés réce, Szürke gém, cserregő nádiposzáta, Jégmadár , Bütykös hattyú, Erdei pinty, Vörösbegy, Barna kánya, and many more.

Italiano: Bel laghetto situato in una ampia riserva naturale con canneti, vegetazione galleggiante e bosco. Le specie presenti sono molte, Bölömbika, Szárcsa, Búbos vöcsök, Tőkés réce, Szürke gém, cserregő nádiposzáta, Jégmadár, Bütykös hattyú, Erdei pinty, Vörösbegy, Barna kánya, e molto altro.

Access

The lake is nestled between Lake Como and Lake Lugano. You can park on the northern side of the lake. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From the parking you can walk along the paths that surround the lake and enter the woods. Some paths are only accessible if accompanied by local guides. In late summer you can also observe many deer. The walking route shown on the map is about 4 km one way.

Italiano: Raggiungere il parcheggio della riserva e da li ci si può muovere a piedi lungo i sentieri che circondano il lago e si addentrano nel bosco. Alcuni sono praticabili solo se accompagnati dalle guide del posto. E' possibile, nei periodi tardo estivi, osservare anche molti cervi.
