Description
Biotopo Foci dell'Avisio is really very large area and many resident and many migratory bird species can be observed. Birds like billegetőcankó, Kárókatona, Nagy bukó and Jégmadár are common. The presence of Barna kánya is massive. In addition to aquatic species, various bird species of wooded areas can be observed, among which Nagy fakopáncs, Tövisszúró gébics and Vadgerle stand out.

Italiano: La grande area di osservazione è composta dal biotopo costituito dalla foce del Torrente Avisio che qui si getta nell'Adige. L'area è veramente molto grande e vi si possono osservare molte specie stanziali e parecchi migratori. Sono confermate annate nelle quali ha nidificato il billegetőcankó. Presenti quasi tutti gli ittiofagi del Trentino: Kárókatona, Nagy bukó e Jégmadár. Massiccia la presenza del Barna kánya considerata la vicinanza della discarica di Ischia Podetti. Si possono osservare oltre alle specie acquatiche varie specie delle aree boschive, tra le quali spiccano Nagy fakopáncs, Tövisszúró gébics e Vadgerle.

Access
The area can be easily reached from Trento along the SS-12 to Lavis: the Biotope begins about 300 meters downstream from the bridge over the Avisio state road. Numerous on-site parking lots, easy access from the Adige cycle-pedestrian path that crosses the whole area.

Italiano: La zona è comodamente raggiungibile da Trento percorrendo la SS-12 fino a Lavis: il Biotopo inizia circa 300 metri a valle del ponte della statale sull'Avisio. Numerosi i parcheggi in loco, comodo l'accesso dalla ciclopedonale dell'Adige che attraversa tutta l'area.
