Description
Langness has good seawatch viewpoints north and south. The east coast is rocky and good for Havasi varjú, Örvös rigó, Réti fülesbagoly, Gyöngybagoly and cigánycsuk. The west coast has exposed mud and seaweed-strewn rock at low tide frequented by herons, egrets, Csigaforgató, Bütykös ásólúd, Tengeri partfutó, kőforgató and Nagy póling. Rarities seen here include Kalandrapacsirta, Bonaparte-partfutó and Vadgerle.

Access
Isle of Man can be visited by ferry from Liverpoool, Heysham, Belfast or Dublin, or by air from several airports. Car park at Derbyhaven which is on a regular bus route, then short walk across to Langness. Or park on the island near the lighthouse. Be aware there is a golf course; dont obstruct play or become an accidental target.
