Description
The small Rif wetland is located in the area of Melrakkaslétta on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in northwest Iceland. It is a breeding area for many birds and has an ideal location between the coast and the mountains. Among the birds you can encounter are Északi búvár, Füles vöcsök, Pehelyréce, vékonycsőrű víztaposó, Örvös bukó, Örvös lúd, Énekes hattyú, Sarki csér, Parti lile, Nagy goda, Piroslábú cankó, Ékfarkú halfarkas, Sarki sirály and Jeges sirály.
