Description
With a short visit to Kópavogstjörn, you'll be able to observe a handful of the wintering bird species of Iceland. Énekes hattyú, Nyári lúd, Tőkés réce are abundant, Fütyülő réce, Csörgo réce, Nagy bukó are common, and the lake is one of the most reliable locations in Iceland for seeing the vagrant álarcos réce, Csörgo réce (American), and hegyi billegető.
