Description
Rhodes is a very dry island, smaller birds breed early before vegetation dies back. At Lindos you can find the usual mediterranean versions of swifts, swallows, warblers and Déli hantmadár. Birds of prey include vörös vércse, Fehérkarmú vércse (especially at the acropolis), Füleskuvik and Pusztai ölyv. Other birds you can encounter are üstökösgém, Ugartyúk, vörösfejű gébics, Vörhenyes fecske and Apró partfutó.

Lindos is located on the south-east coast on Rhodes, 40 km south of Rhodes town. You can take a bus or coach from Rhodes town to Lindos.
