A good spot for migrants in an open landscape with scattered bushes and trees.
Just northwest of Mesotopos, the road to Eresos starts to become very bendy, and provides a good overview over a semi open landscape with scattered trees and bushes. These hills are used as breeding ground for species, like füstös cinege and közép fakopáncs. The hilltops are great for raptors, like Kígyászölyv and Pusztai ölyv.
During migration, these scattered bushes and trees are great for migrants, like flycatchers, warblers, shrikes and Sárgarigó.
The hills can be scanned by parking your car at several lay-overs next to the road.
