Description
The Westpark is a good place for watching more common birds. The pond is home to many Tőkés réce, some Nílusi lúd, Szárcsa and Vízityúk. In the trees you can find őszapó, Rövidkarmú fakusz, Csuszka and Nagy fakopáncs. If you walk around the pond, it is possible to see almost all of the listed birds.
In the summer the park had a breeding pair of Kanadai lúd. Sometimes a Szürke gém flies and lands near the water. At least in the autumn there are some Kárókatona resting here. Jégmadár lives in the area, which you might be able to spot.
