Description
The Sieglarer See is located near Troisdorf, in the immediate vicinity of the river Sieg and was created during the construction of the A59 in the early 1970s. The lake is about 670 meters long and 260 meters wide. The lake has two islands and is surrounded by small woods and shrubs where birds breed in spring. Breeding colonies of Szürke gém and Kárókatona have established themselves on the islands. The area only has unpaved paths, but it can still be reached from all sides.

The Sieglarer See is located near Troisdorf, in the immediate vicinity of the river Sieg. There are two big parking lots. Click on a P in the map for directions. The circular walk around the lake is about 3 km.
