Description

The Paderquellgebiet is an area of springs in the city centre of Paderborn. More than 4,000 liters of water flow out of them every second. Six spring basins form the headwaters of the river Pader and flow together to form the river Pader just before the inner city ring. Among the birds you can observe in the area are Bütykös hattyú, Vízityúk, Dankasirály, hegyi billegető, Vízirigó and Jégmadár.
