Description
The Ockstädter Kirschenberg is one of the most important areas for the Kerti rozsdafarkú (be careful not to confuse it with the Házi rozsdafarkú). The Kerti rozsdafarkú is represented here with over 50 territories and is considered to be endangered in Hesse. Other birds you can see in this area are Nyaktekercs, Karvaly, Rövidkarmú fakusz, Vadgerle, Tövisszúró gébics and Kuvik.

Parking lot for the Usa-Wellenbad (swimming pool) in Bad Nauheim or in the village of Ockstadt. Bus line FB32 to the bus stop "Friedberg (Hessen) - Ockstadt Am Kirschenberg". There are many roads and paths running through the area. On the map you see an example of a circular trail of 4 km.
