Description

Neuer Friedhof offers - in addition to a 'classic' cemetery park - various kinds of habitats: meadows, dense hedges, areas with mixed woodlands, wasteland expanses, dead wood and a recycling area. Many songbirds can be seen here, for example countless fekete rigó, Erdei szürkebegy, Kerti rozsdafarkú, sárgafejű királyka, tüzesfejű királyka, Ökörszem or Fülemüle. You can also discover Kerti geze, Szürke légykapó, közép fakopáncs or even some Daru during the migration period.

Neuer Friedhof is located on the western outskirts of Greifswald and is easy to access. You can park in front of it and explore the area from there on foot. Press P on the map for directions to the parking.
