Description
Moosschwaige has surprisingly varied habitats. There are reedbeds (cserregő nádiposzáta, Nádirigó), ponds and streams (Guvat, Jégmadár) with attached wetland being actively maintained by beavers. There are also woods and grassland.
Star species are Kerti geze, Tövisszúró gébics and Kakukk in the summer, Nagy őrgébics in the winter, and woodpeckers all year round, including Kis fakopáncs , hamvas küllő and Fekete harkály.

Moosschwaige is located in the west of Munich, reachable from Aubing or Freiham S-Bahn (30 minute walk). Allow at least two hours to explore. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 4 km.
