Especially on warm summer days the area is good for all kinds of raptors as they breed in the surrounding forests like Scheidebusch, Kannenbruch, Grönauer Heide. Woodpeckers, Kék galamb, Fehér gólya or Daru pass by frequently. In the evening the call of up to 3 Erdei szalonka is not unusual, sometimes Sárszalonka too. Typicall breeding species are Daru, cigánycsuk, Mezei pacsirta, rozsdás csuk, Tövisszúró gébics and Réti pityer.

There is a bus going to the village of Krummesse. Then walk. You can also take the car till the red and white "no entry sign". A bike is fine too.
