Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord is a complex of gravel pits west of Rössing. Breedings birds include Berki poszáta and Nádirigó. More important from October to February for wintering waterbirds. Gulls and Nyári lúd roost in July and August. Birds you can observe in the area include Nagy lilik, Vetési lúd, Kendermagos réce, Tőkés réce, Csörgo réce, Kontyos réce, Nagy bukó, Örvös bukó, Kis vöcsök, Búbos vöcsök, Szárcsa, Nádi sármány, Dankasirály, Viharsirály, Sárgalábú sirály, Ezüstsirály, and Sztyeppi sirály.

The Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord are located west of the town of Rössing and north of the town of Nordstemmen. You can park along the road near the sports field. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From there you can explore the area on foot or by bike.
