Description
The Herrenteich attracts various waders (Kis lile, Szürke cankó, Füstös cankó, Réti cankó, Erdei cankó, Sárszalonka), especially during migration times. These birds are less common regionally. You can often see the Jégmadár, hegyi billegető, Barna kánya, Vörös kánya and various ducks and geese. From time to time Fekete gólya, Karvaly, Héja are flying over. Now and then, Halászsas, Barna rétihéja, and Kabasólyom can also be seen.
The area can be seen from two sides and the footbridges can be walked on. One side of the lake is overgrown with trees. Another is covered with reeds.

The area is best explored on foot and free parking is available directly in front of the lake at the inn. The footbridges are freely accessible and you can enjoy a drink while watching.
