Fehér gólya started breeding in the Hagwinkel area some years ago. Many waterfowl are attracted by the pond and the nearby small river Niers. Besides Fehér gólya you can see Nílusi lúd, Nyári lúd, Kárókatona, Nagy kócsag, vörös vércse, Egerészölyv and Jégmadár.
