Description
Grube Cox has mixed forest with lakes and ponds. Kendermagos réce, Barátréce and Kárókatona spend the winter on the lakes. Léprigó can be seen in the poplars on the edges of the lake. In the forest, with a bit of luck, there are Kis fakopáncs , közép fakopáncs, Meggyvágó and Süvöltő.
In winter szőlőrigó and fenyőpinty can also be seen. At night you can see Erdei szalonka, hear Macskabagoly call and very occasionally Uhu. During migration I saw Halászsas hunt, but it is rare to observe them here. From a herpetological point of view, it is also worth a visit, as you can observe sand lizards, grass snakes and common midwife toad here.
