Description
The Freisinger Isarauen extend southeast of the city of Freising on both sides of the Isar. From the end of April to July, you can see Örvös légykapó, for which nest boxes are hung by the local LBV group. Other residents of the alluvial forest are woodpeckers such as Fekete harkály, hamvas küllő and közép fakopáncs. Nagy bukó, Jégmadár and Vízirigó occur on the river Isar all year round.
