The Flemhudder See area is located between the lake Westensee area and the North Sea- Baltic Sea Channel and offers some nice birding all year round. Best spot to observe Kis bukó in the winter. halcsontfarkú réce has been present here in 2020 and 2021. Some of the other birds you can encounter are Vörösnyakú vöcsök, Nyílfarkú réce, Daru, Foltos nádiposzáta and Barna rétihéja.
