Tourbière de Chastel is a sensitive high-altitude natural area with a wealth of habitats and the opportunity to observe raptors on the surrounding heights. Among the birds you can observe are Vörös kánya, Kígyászölyv, Nagy őrgébics, Tövisszúró gébics, Gyurgyalag, Örvös rigó, Fenyvescinege, Holló, rozsdás csuk and cigánycsuk.
