Description
In a traditional countryside of pastures filled with flowers and woodland, around 900 m high, a wide variety of passerines can be seen relatively easily. Tövisszúró gébics , Erdei pacsirta , cigánycsuk are everywhere, Kerti rozsdafarkú and Kenderike are around the villages, and Hantmadár on stone walls. Some rozsdás csuk can still be found in marshy grassland, and raptors are frequent ( Vörös kánya , Hamvas rétihéja , Kígyászölyv)
But the main species here are Nagy őrgébics which tend to be rare nowadays, and köviveréb who are nesting in few numbers.
