Description

Neuvry is a very good spot for waterbirds, and also for local rarities. Szerecsensirály and Dankasirály breed in small numbers, as do üstökösréce , Kontyos réce and Feketenyakú vöcsök. Pásztorgém , Nagy kócsag and Kis kócsag are all regular. Waders are quite common in stopover, especially Tringa sandpipers. Kis sárszalonka winters in the area.

Kis sirály , fattyúszerkő, kormos szerkő and Halászsas are regular. This also a good place for ducks in migration period. Among the recent rarities are Tavi cankó , üstökösgém , jegesréce , Vörösnyakú vöcsök , Temminck-partfutó and Sarki csér.
