Description
Marais du Douhet is particularly interesting because it brings together a great diversity of species, sometimes in high density and at all times of the year.
Among the nesting birds are the Piroslábú cankó, the Gólyatöcs, the Berki poszáta, the Szuharbújó, the vörös vércse or the Bütykös ásólúd. During migration, the laposcsőrű víztaposó or the Házi rozsdafarkú are passing through. In winter, Örvös lúd, Aranylile and Bíbic are stationed on the site.
All year round shorebirds, ducks, gulls, herons, grebes and many others are present.
