A plain with some groves and bushes, a small marsh and some forest around. There are also heathers and a small wood area.
La Plaine de Chanfroy is a perfect spot for passerine watching, as there are lots of bushes and a small, wooded area with some stand apart trees. One can also observe, reed birds, Lappantyú, forest birds and raptors. The heather fields are good for the observation of warblers and pipits.
