Description

Forêt de Moulière has bird species typically associated with the forest habitats. Among the birds you can encounter are Búbos cinege , tüzesfejű királyka , közép fakopáncs , Fekete harkály , Szürke légykapó , Héja , sisegő füzike, Bonelli-füzike and Kerti rozsdafarkú.

Access

The Forêt de Moulière is located 10 km northeast of the city of Poitiers. The area is accessible by car and several paths and roads cross the forest. For a nice birding day it is a good idea to combine the forest with a visit of the Pinail nature reserve that is located just to the north and also described on Birdingplaces.eu.
