This large pond is home to nice nesting species as üstökösréce, Barátréce, Kontyos réce, Kendermagos réce, Foltos nádiposzáta, Vörös gém. In the surrounding bocage, Tövisszúró gébics, Erdei pacsirta,Hamvas rétihéja are also nesting.
In winter, the pond can be hosting Csörgo réce, Barátréce, Kontyos réce, Fütyülő réce and several vagrants. The place is also really great in times of migration with lots of passerines in the hedgerows and waterfowl on the pond.
