Ruusuniemi is a nice place for observing waterfowl as they swim around the area or fly by. Tőkés réce , Kerceréce , Kontyos réce , Bütykös hattyú , Kanadai lúd , Énekes hattyú , Nagy bukó and Örvös bukó are a common sight from this spot. Birders have also sighted Kis bukó among other duck species and Nagy kócsag flying by. There's also a bird feeding spot in a walking distance during winter times.
