Description
Lupinlahti consists of two separate sea bays, Purholmanselä and Lupinlahti, which are separated from each other by the Lauttasalmi bridge. The site is important because of the many birds that rest and breed in the area. The bird observation tower built on the Lupinlahti bay is a nice and easy accessible spot for birdwatching. Among the birds you can observe are Lócsér, Énekes hattyú, Nádirigó, Bölömbika, Kerceréce, Nagy bukó, Daru, Bíbic, Piroslábú cankó, Kis sirály, Kabasólyom, Barna rétihéja, Halászsas and Rétisas
