Description
Kallahdenniemen Uimaranta: the beach is a great place to watch birds during migration seasons as many species stop to rest and feed near the shore. Migrating waders are among the most interesting birds to see on the beach and it's possible to see a lot of rarer species if one is lucky. Csigaforgató and billegetőcankó are a pretty common sight by the beach and it's possible to spot waders like Havasi partfutó , Réti cankó , Sarlós partfutó ,Szürke cankó , Parti lile , Kis lile , Temminck-partfutó , Pajzsoscankó , Kis póling , Kis goda and Füstös cankó. Some lucky birders have even spotted Gulipán here.
Viharsirály , Dankasirály , Ezüstsirály , heringsirály , Küszvágó csér , Sarki csér and Lócsér are regular birds by the beach. Nagy bukó , Örvös bukó , Bütykös hattyú ,Tőkés réce , Kerceréce , Kontyos réce and Kanadai lúd are also common water fowl.
While waiting for waders to make an appearance it's also good to keep an eye on the reeds and their surroundings as you can spot common birds like barázdabillegető but also sárga billegető if you're in luck. When small birds are around birds of prey aren't far behind in the form of Karvaly , Héja , Barna rétihéja and Kabasólyom. Some very lucky birders have also seen Jégmadár stop briefly on the area.

When the water level is low, there are more open places for waders to forage on and they're easier to spot during those times. The tiny island in front of the beach also becomes accessible by foot at that time.
