Description
Ilveskorvenpuisto is a nice and accessible place for casual urban birding. The pond attracts a variety of duck species in summer and it's possible to see their young there too. You can see Tőkés réce, Csörgo réce and Nagy bukó. As the summer progresses, some birds make nests on the small island in the middle of the pond. Viharsirály and Dankasirály are common but sometimes it's possible to see Dolmányos sirály too. Vízityúk has been seen at the pond in spring time too and the surrounding bushes provide hiding places for Vörösbegy.
