Description
There is a small community on the island. Skuvoy which is named after the large number of Nagy halfarkas breeding there, is an island with a rugged coast, steep cliffs, boulder-screes and grass slopes. The cliffs are breeding sites of északi sirályhojsza , atlanti vészmadár , Viharfecske , lumma , Fekete lumma , Lunda and csüllő . Kis póling are breeding on the grassland.

Access
There is a passenger ferry operating the route between the more northern island Sandur and Skuvoy several times per day (mostly only on request). Travelling time: 35 min. Departure times may vary due to adverse weather conditions. The bus 101 is connecting Thorshavn and Gamlaraett, where a ferry brings you to Sandoy.
