Description
Paljassaare Special Conservation Area is a waders paradise. There is wooden broadwalk and at the end of "waders paradise" is bench. The shallow seabed attracts waders. Sometimes they are as close as 25 m. The area is very exposed so it can be quite windy. Among the birds you can encounter are Parti lile, Csigaforgató, Ezüstlile, Örvös bukó, billegetőcankó, Réti cankó, Havasi partfutó, Sarlós partfutó, Sárjáró, Énekes hattyú, Böjti réce, Kontyos réce, Kerceréce, Kanalas réce, sárga billegető, Karmazsinpirók, Küszvágó csér and Sarki csér.

The area has a big parking lot. Click on the P in the map to get directions. Near the parking lot are many information signs which show you where to go. Actually you can start birding near the Katariina pier. The route indicated on the map is about 2 km long (one way)
