Description
Kragesand is a good place to observe bird migration in late summer and autumn, when Scandinavian birds migrate south. Waders can migrate in August, while in the autumn eider ducks, geese, and terns are seen. Kragesand is, apart from Lakolk on Rømø, the best place in Southern Jutland to find Északi búvár and Sarki búvár. Ékfarkú halfarkas and Alka are often seen. In the winter, thousands of Pehelyréce rest in the sea off Kragesand along with Kerceréce, jegesréce and Fekete réce.
