Description
This area along the Vltava River is not a very beautiful place, but you can find some interesting birds there and there are many ducks and swans on this part of the river. Mandarinréce is common. Also common are Kontyos réce, Kis vöcsök, Bütykös hattyú, Tőkés réce, Dankasirály, Jégmadár, Házi rozsdafarkú and Zöld küllo. In winter Sztyeppi sirály and Kárókatona are regulars. If you have a bit of luck, you can also find Kendermagos réce. In the winter, some rarer ducks like Kanalas réce, Fütyülő réce, Kerceréce, Nagy bukó or üstökösréce can be found there.

This area of the river is located 8 km south from the city center of Prague. Easy to reach from Prague by tram.
