Description

The Retencija Blato ticklist is 216 species (see link below). There is an island/peninsula which is a popular bird roost Species seen include Karmazsinpirók, Csicsörke, Erdei pacsirta, Mezei veréb, Hegyi réce, Gulipán, Nyaktekercs, Gyurgyalag, Vörös gém, Cigányréce, Fakó rétihéja and Barna rétihéja. Note: As of 2022 the website says 'temporarily closed'. Unclear if this applies only to fishing, or all visitors.
