Description
Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly Tőkés réce. Some other duck species can be seen like Kendermagos réce, Nyílfarkú réce and Csörgo réce. In the trees there are common birds like széncinege, Kék cinege and Nagy fakopáncs. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see Barátposzáta, Erdei pinty and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see Vízirigó and Nagy bukó who nest nearby. Also other species like Fehér gólya, Szürke gém and Egerészölyv.
