Description
Drongengoed/ Maldegemveld is a mixed forest with a few heathland patches, one of the largest heathlands left in the province. With breeding species like Erdei pacsirta, Erdei pityer, Kabasólyom and fitiszfüzike. In the forest you can find woodpeckers like közép fakopáncs and Fekete harkály and lots of other typical old forest species.

Access
There are lots of interesting small paths with boardwalks over the more swampy places so going by foot is the best option, but the area is also very popular for cycling. You can park preferrably at the Krakeelparking or else at Het Jagershof or De Drongengoedhoeve.
