Description

The 10 meter deep old sand quarry, known locally as De Drie Vijvers, is nowadays filled with clear groundwater and rainwater. It is the ideal place for special plants and a paradise for foraging birds. You can take a nice and varied walk around the ponds and you can spot a lot of water birds like Kárókatona, Kis vöcsök, Jégmadár, Kontyos réce, Nádi sármány, Foltos nádiposzáta, Kékbegy and Búbos vöcsök.
