Description
The Schlatzingeraue Natur Park is located in the center of the Maltatal and consists of a small resting area surrounded with wet grasslands and forests next to the river. A small track leads you around the grassland and next to the river, where species such as hegyi billegető and Vízirigó can be seen. Small patches of bushes and scattered trees are great for songbirds, like Barátposzáta and Hegyi fakusz and woodpeckers, like Nagy fakopáncs.
The grassland has several patches with bushes in which species, such as kis poszáta, can be found. With a bit of luck, a Tövisszúró gébics might show up here too! The forests, mainly pine, are great for species such as Búbos cinege, Fenyvescinege and tüzesfejű királyka. Also, fairly large numbers of fenyőszajkó can be found here too!
