Description

Best vantage points are Ronach, Rhunahaorine Point and Tayinloan on the mainland, the ferry boat to Gigha, and the northern tip of Gigha. Wintering sea birds include Crna patka and Patka kulašica, Mali ronac, Ušati gnjurac, Sjeverni plijenor, Crvenogrli Plijenor, Crnogrli Plijenor, Gavka, Patka Batoglavica and four auk species.

Access

By road or bus from Glasgow, 120 miles. Regular ferry from Tayinloan to Gigha island. The ferry journey takes 20 minutes.
