Description
Located in the heart of the Somerset Levels and Moors, Greylake is a flat wetland with good paths and reedbed. Thanks to all the water, you can see Vivak, Crvenonoga Prutka and Šljuka Kokošica nesting in the spring. Smaller birds such as Trstenjak Rogožar, Žuta Pastirica and Močvarna Strnadica can be heard and seen singing from the trails.
Over winter, vast flocks of ducks and waders, being hunted by birds of prey. Vivak and Troprsti Zlatar are sometimes joined by Žalar Cirikavac, Pršljivac and Crnorepa Muljača. Large flocks of Zviždara, Kržulja and smaller groups of Patka Žličarka, Patka Kreketaljka and Patka Lastarka feed in front of the hides. Sivi Sokol and Eja Močvarica are seen regularly and Mali Sokol and Eja Strnjarica occasionally.

Access
There is a free car park off A361 (Ashcott to Taunton road) well signposted just before entrance. There is a boardwalk which meanders from the car park to the hide and provides disabled access. Said to be wheelchair friendly but never tried.
