Description

With a mixture of coastline and agricultural fields, Kearney is an amazing place to see Siva Čaplja, Oštrigar, Grivasta guska, Crvenonoga Prutka, Kameničak, Veliki Pozviždač, Prugasti Pozviždač, Veliki Vranac, Utva, Juričica, Palčić, Vrabac, Crnoglavi Batić, Livadna Trepetljka and Sjeverna trepteljka.

The walk is easy, along a coastal path, with an abundance of birds to see, especially after the Winter migrants arrive, when the area is also much quieter.

Extra info

Kearney Village, itself, is a pretty small village restored by the National Trust to give the authenticity of a traditional fishing village. All dogs must be kept on leades and it can get very busy, with visitors, during school summer holidays.
