Description

Cors Fochno (Borth Bog) is good for heathland birds such as Juričica, Žuta strnadica, Crnoglavi Batić, Zimovka, Mala Šljuka, Šljuka Kokošica and Šumska šljuka. Also winter waders and wildfowl. Dolphins, seals, porpoises and seabirds may be spotted offshore. At low tide, the tree stumps of a 5,000 year old forest may be seen.

Access

By car, head north from Borth passing the golf club. At the end there is access to the beach where cars can be parked near the dunes. Click on the P in the map for directions. The circular route indicated on the map is about 10 km.
