Description

Chafford Gorges is a beautiful nature reserve set in amongst a new build housing estate, with lakes overlooked by a huge white ravine. A network of pathways take you around lakes, meadows and woodland. Among the birds that you can expect to see are Vodomar, Veliki Djetlić, Zelena žuna, Bregunica, Patka Žličarka, Krunata Patka, Mali Gnjurac, Kobac, Trstenjak Rogožar, Trstenjak cvrkutić, Crnokapa Grmuša, Češljugar and Svilorepa. In winter, the gorges are visited by birds such as Čižak, Lesser Redpoll and Glavata Patka.

Access

The park is within walking distance of Chafford Hundred railway station. When you choose to arrive by car there is a free car park on site. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
